Eye-Solation Images began in 2002  when I decided to buy my first digital camera and document the then blossoming music scene in my hometown of Augusta, GA. Inspired by photographers such as Charles Peterson, known for his iconic black and white images of  Nirvana, Soundgarden, Mudhoney, and the rest of burgeoning Seattle scene of the mid eighties, I began shooting local favorites 420 Outback, Jemani, Hellblinki, Distal, The Sixth Hour, The Shark Devilles, Shaun Piazza, Tara Scheyer, and many others who played great Augusta venues such as the Soul Bar, Kokopellis, Crossroads, The Playground, and Sky City.

At the time, Myspace was the prevailing social medial platform. A limit of eight photos per user made it an impractical format to share photos so in November 2003, Eye-SolationImages.com was launched. After nearly a decade online, social media became a far more convenient vehicle to share photos. At that time, I also began reviewing shows in other cities (mostly Atlanta) for other publications and gave less attention to this site. Now, I'm proud to relaunch this site with all of my reviews and photos in one location!
